The job posting is for a financial editor role on a team based in Evalueserve Chile that works alongside a global client team. The client is a top index provider.
The role involves editing marketing content that span asset classes for style, consistency, grammar, and punctuation in accordance with guidelines set by the client, then publishing and promoting this content across a variety of channels. Maintaining quality service levels is of the utmost importance; these include:

• Copy and invasive editing for grammar, punctuation, nuanced phrasing, cohesion, flow, etc.
• Structural changes and heavy edits to copy and some research can be involved
• Formatting in MS Office to meet client’s style and branding requirements
• Formatting charts/graphs and transferring data from Excel into Word/PPT
• Publishing content using platforms like JIRA and HP PPM; sharing content on social media through platforms like Spredfast and Hootsuite
• Clear, precise, appropriate, and professional communication skills
• Excellent time-management skills, especially with tight deadlines
• A methodical and proactive approach to learning and tasks; high attention to detail and ability to prioritize appropriately
• Dependability and flexibility to maintain required coverage; professional attitude regarding team, workflow, and client

Requisitos Minimos:
Required Qualifications:
• Native English speaker
• 1-3 years of relevant experience or experience related to the position
• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, linguistics, business, accounting, economics, finance, or liberal arts
• Proven strength or experience in editing, proofreading, publishing, and/or teaching English
• Impeccable writing skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
• Sound capabilities in Microsoft Office 2010 and/or 2013, specifically Word
• Prior experience with customer service is a plus
• Knowledge of financial markets, corporate finance, or accounting is preferred

• This role is available as a Maternity leave replacement, ideally starting in August or September 2019, with a fixed work contract.
